Chhathi Maiya foundation is basically dedicated to work for the welfare of the nature, environment and global warming. On the festival of chhath people worship nature. It is a occasion of Chhath when we thank the nature for giving us air to breath, food to eat and shelter to live.
The nature has been giving us so much without expecting anything in return. Chhathi Maiya Foundation believe that now its duty of every individual to respect and care about nature. It is our firm belief healthy life is possible on earth without healthy environment. The organization is effectively working for healthy physical and social environment so that the next generation is able to have mental and physical oxygen to breathe in future time.
The Government of India and the Sangeet Natak Akademi have initiated a historic effort to nominate Chhath Mahaparv for inscription on UNESCO’s “Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.” Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also highlighted this effort in his recent Mann Ki Baat address, calling it a matter of national pride.
